Sara Evans - Slow Me Down

If all that's left to do is walk away,
then baby I'm as gone as yesterday.
But if there's something you still need to say,
you need to say it now.

Hurry up and slow me down... Slow me down...

Yuengling arrives on March 3rd!!!

Craft Brewers Guild and the awesome Pennsylvania brewery Yuengling held a swanky casino bash on Tuesday at the Seaport World Trade Center to celebrate the beer's arrival in Massachusetts--and the full-flavored, all-American, lager with plenty of street cred flowed freely!

Yeungling was last sold here in Massachusetts 20 years ago! It's long awaited return is March 3rd and it won't be hard to find! "Everyone in Boston is looking for the product," Yuengling chief operating officer David Casinelli told the Boston Herald before the party. Three Yuengling beers will arrive here in the first wave: Yuengling Light, Black & Tan, and flagship Traditional Lager.

The brewery was founded in 1829, making it the nation's oldest beer maker. It holds a unique niche in the American beer market. Yuengling is going to reshape the sophisticated Boston beer scene and don't be surprised when it steals tap handles and shelf space away from both craft brews and the big domestics!

Yuengling is a super easy-drinking beer sold at the same price as premium brands like Bud, Miller, and Coors, but with more color and flavor.  It is currently sold in 14 states; Massachusetts will be the 15th. The brewery has multipled from about 200,000 barrels annually sold 20 years ago to more than two million barrels per year today! Owner Dick Yuengling landed on the Forbes 400 last fall with a net worth of $1.4 billion!

Drugs and Money... It's a lethal combination...

The actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, was found dead by a friend at about 11:30 this morning in his New York West Village Manhattan from an apparent drug overdose. Investigators found a syringe in his arm and an envelope containing what is believed to be heroine. That makes an overdose pretty apparent. He had undergone drug addiction treatment in the past and recently lost his battle with sobriety last year.  He had been clean for 25 years.

He is the father of three children - daughters, Tallulah and Willa; and a son, Cooper -- with costume designer Mimi O'Donnell. Prayers for his family in this difficult, difficult time.
